2015 Romeo Bulldogs 13-1, Division 1 State Champions

Winding down our countdown, we end with Romeo. This team reinvented the wheel when it came to their defense. If they weren’t going to out tough you, they would just run by you. In league play the Bulldogs would give up 4 points a game on it’s way to the MAC White division title. Finishing 8-1, Romeo would run a gauntlet of games in the playoffs that included Catholic Central, Saline, Clarkston, and Lapeer. The Bulldogs would play Cass Tech in the finals in a David vs. Goliath matchup. Romeo would come out and throw the first punch. After surrendering the lead in the 3rd quarter, Romeo would take back the lead and never look back winning the 2015 Division 1 title and becoming Chunky’s #1 team of the last 10 years.
